Hi, everyone! I know it's summer (here in the Philippines) and I would almost have all the time in the world to read books but unfortunately, that's not the case. Summer would also mean family trips and other personal stuff. And although I might be able to read some books, there will be times when I don't have computer access which means I can't post a review.
I don't feel like taking a hiatus because it's really hard to come back from that. So I would like to open Letter Trails to those who writes reviews who doesn't have a blog or has one but concentrates on a different genre. Letter Trails is pretty much anything-under-the-sun but I'm drawing a line on erotica books. You can refer to my Policies and Contact page to see what genre I usually post. I would love to have YA or NA reviewers on board.
What are the qualifications?
- Honesty. Writing reviews isn't about making the authors feel good. It's about telling people what you think of this book, honestly. You don't want to be led on, do you?
- Original content. Plagiarism has been an issue around the blogosphere so please, do not contribute to that. There might be some similarities but people would still know if it's really written by you or copied from other reviewers.
- Sense of Responsibility. I know I required a review per week but I would totally understand if you cannot post, but please tell me ahead of time. Or at least mention it to me. Blogging is a responsibility I do not take lightly so I hope you do too.
- Goodreads link. If you have a Goodreads account, please link us back on your reviews.
- Social networking involvement. When reviews are posted, links are also posted to different social networking sites to generate traffic. I would expect you to do the same.
As for the reading materials, it would be up to you if you acquire it through lending, buying or ARC requests on Netgalley or Edelweiss. You can definitely add Letter Trails to your blog/site on Netgalley and/or Edelweiss.
Don't be shy, I don't bite. And aside from my OCD-ness on some things (formats, uniformity, etc.), I am pretty much tame. So please feel free to fill up the form.
